Position Summary: Sanitation Technician is responsible for keeping the facilities in a clean and orderly manner. The Sanitation Technician follows through on set processes daily to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards and product quality standards. A Sample of What You’ll Do in this Role: •Responsible for Sanitation of Processing Equipment Responsible for daily facility sanitation and custodial duties including, but not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and tidying production and non-production workspaces Responsible for collecting and removing trash from office, break rooms, maintenance shops, warehouse, plant, and building perimeter. Notify Management immediately if product quality of Food Safety is compromised Properly fill out required paperwork The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive. Requirements What You Bring to the Role: Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required Willingness to operate material handling equipment including a forklift, skid steer, and other equipment as required Ability to repetitively lift packages up to 50 lb. (or 110lb. with a partner) while working in a non-climate-controlled dusty environment Good math and organizational skills Able to follow written and verbal directions and complete the necessary documentation.
