JOB SUMMARY

As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, biosecurity, and operational efficiency of our processing facilities. Your efforts directly support our mission to produce safe, high-quality eggs and ensure compliance with food safety standards. This role is essential to maintaining daily operations, preparing the facility for continuous production, and performing basic preventive maintenance tasks.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAS)

  • Familiarity with sanitation procedures and cleaning chemicals
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to clean, reset, and perform minor maintenance on equipment
  • Understanding of basic preventive maintenance principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, safety, and equipment care
  • Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for long periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for common equipment issues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Basic understanding of preventive maintenance concepts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in sanitation or food production environments
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
