Position Overview
Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a Full-Time Sanitation Worker who are eager to work in a fast paced team oriented work environment in our Richmond location.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of production facility equipment. Other Sanitation related duties may be required, as well as other warehouse related duties.
Position: Full-Time Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Wage: Starting from $18/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet productivity targets and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the team.
  • Ensure sanitation meets specifications.
  • Follow GMP practices.
  • Clean equipment.
  • Report quality issues.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accountable, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Follows company’s Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Capable of lifting 40-50 lbs in wet and cold conditions.
  • Performs janitorial tasks.
  • Adaptable to changing work environments and skilled in multitasking.
  • Food manufacturing sanitation experience is advantageous.
  • Microsoft Office and First Aid Certification are assets.
  • Forklift and scissor lift Certification considered an asset.
