Description Position Summary Supports the facility in maintaining sanitary and food safe conditions suitable to the processing and holding of foods. Performs duties in adherence to HACCP, Seafood HACCP, and Euro USA’s quality management systems and certifications. The facility includes office spaces, kitchen/break room, restrooms, warehouse (including freezer & coolers) docks and storage, and exterior of the property. Duties and Responsibilities · Completes daily duties as assigned and communicates issues or delays appropriately · Porters all refuse, recycling, and damaged products to appropriate designated collection areas · Mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming of floors, as assigned · Supports work performed by Euro USA’s third-party janitorial company by ensuring the restrooms, kitchen/break rooms, and offices are maintained in a clean, tidy, dust-free condition throughout the day · Performs treatments to the facility’s drains · Ensures the exterior of the building is tidy and free from litter · Completes cleaning as specified on the Master Sanitation Schedule · Promptly reports unclean/unsanitary areas, equipment, or utensils and/or conditions that could create food safety or quality issues · After performing tasks, accurately completes and returns Sanitation Verification Sheets · Provides sanitation support to Cheese and Seafood when needed · Monitors the chemical inventory and promptly reports reordering needs or shortages · Other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications · Understand/execute instruction specified on SSOPs Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures · Ability to understand and apply basic food safety principles. · Basic cleaning skills and use of cleaning equipment and hand tools. · Follow and adhere to SDS instructions for chemical and cleaning supplies. · Follow and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). · Ability to operate hand jack and floor scrubber. Working Conditions · Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs. · Ability to withstand cool/cold temperatures in a typical food warehouse environment · Position spends 6 - 8 hours standing, walking, lifting, pulling, kneeling, crouching, and pushing. · Indoor and outdoor work and element exposure. · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Maintains sanitary and food-safe conditions across the facility, including warehouses, offices, and exterior areas. Performs cleaning tasks according to the Master Sanitation Schedule and ensures compliance with HACCP and quality management systems.
