Description

Assistant Instructor - Part Time Description: The ideal candidate loves the game of tennis along with an engaging personality and enjoys helping and interacting with kids of all ages. A willingness to contribute and operate within a team based environment is essential to this role. Skills, Qualities and Experience: * A fun, friendly and welcoming attitude that children respond well to is a must * The ability to communicate effectively and appropriately to a group of children * Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport * Ability to follow a lesson plan and safety guidelines * Ability to work with a wide range and variety of skill levels (with a focus on beginning through intermediate skill levels) * Previous coaching experience and a solid playing ability is a plus * A wide range of games and drills to get students moving and having fun * A strong work-ethic that includes being punctual and professional at all times * Reliable transportation NOTE: This position is required by law to submit to a consumer investigative report. Applicants are also subject to a health screening, following a conditional offer of employment.
