SAP ABAP Developer will be accountable for ERP project and enhancement assessment and execution matters including service delivery (break/fix) on our CBU's SAP ERP instance. The SAP ABAP Developer will collaborate with other team members to ensure that enhancements are delivered, in a cost-effective manner without negatively impacting quality, as well as providing support in resolving service delivery matters and ensuring service are met. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead and lead ABAP Projects. • Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas. • Respond to SAP ABAP production Issues and Research causes of problems. • Proposes and test corrective action with user department. • Work with functional consultants for integration tests. • Performs routine duties in accordance with procedures for regular tasks. • Keeps records, prepares reports, issues address, updates and maintains addresses for SAP systems with ABAP perspective. • Performs other duties as required by management. Related Work Experience (Yrs.) • 3+ years’ experience in the IT field. • 3 or more years of professional experience solving business problems with technology solutions, preferably in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry. • Hands-on ABAP programming experience is a must. • Ability to set expectations, explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management and business partners. • Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem. • Excellent customer service skills required. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment. • Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills. • Strong System troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Broad Knowledge with some of the programming techniques. (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script and Smart Form) • In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and various modules such as PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW. • S/4 Hana knowledge is a +.
