THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a member of the IT Operations group, the SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing Avantor’s GCC (Government Community Cloud)/regulated SAP environments. You will work closely with the SAP Basis team, developers, and application teams to support multi-billion-dollar business applications. Our top priority is preventing service disruption while enabling fast growth of our life sciences company. You will also cross train and support various SAP products, ancillary systems, databases, and related technologies while proactively contributing to strategic SAP projects. Key success factors will include a positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as within teams. As part of this well-respected IT group, you will enjoy a wide variety of self-directed work within a supportive team environment.
This role predominantly supports North American systems with Pacific time business hours. Work schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Pacific Time zone.
