Applicants must be able to work the full 8- month duration.    Summary The SAP Basis and Security Intern will assist with user access administration and troubleshooting technical issues within SAP ERP systems. Responsibilities include participating in meetings to gather business requirements, documenting proposed solutions, and collaborating with Security and Development teams to estimate implementation efforts. The role involves testing activities, supporting business clients, and resolving system-related issues. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsibilities User access administration and troubleshooting technical issues in SAP ERP systems Participate in meetings and gather business requirements Document to-be solutions and gather estimates for completing such with the input of Security and Development resources Perform testing Support business clients and troubleshooting issues Understanding of network connectivity options between on-premise and cloud Supports multiple system environments (in-house and external) for development, testing, and production releases Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required This person will work with a cross-section of internal IT organizations, including other DBA's, Analysts, Developers, and Management teams Design, test, implement and maintain high-availability solutions Perform system builds and comply with security standards, release management, change management, and quality assurance standards   Knowledge & Skills Proficiency with Microsoft tools like Word and Excel is required; proficiency in SharePoint is a strong asset Highly motivated and disciplined Organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision Strong analytical skills Strong customer service / interpersonal skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with professionalism Ability to efficiently prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment   Education Currently enrolled in 3rd/4th year or recent graduates with a post-secondary degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business (Tech-focused)   Experience Previous experience working in a collaborative team environment is required IT support experience is an asset ERP systems, ServiceNow experience is an asset Basic knowledge of security concepts is an asset Project management experience is an asset
