Key Responsibilities & Tasks
The SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) & Analytics Global Services Sales Solution Advisor in Services Sales within GCE&S will drive demand and growth of SAP Business Data Cloud & Analytics Services and support customer adoption of SAP BDC. The right person will be accountable for driving the Services business development to generate SAP Business Data Cloud & Analytics adoption through business development activities aligned with AI-First, Suite-First Strategy. The SAP Business Data Cloud & Analytics Global Solution Advisor must collaborate and develop strong a Business Development strategy, Go-To-Market plans and drive pipeline growth along with License sales to prominently position SAP Business Data Cloud & Analytics Services across the continuous customer value journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building strategies to sell SAP Business Data Cloud & Analytics Services via strategic and value-based market penetration strategies.
  • Defines a vision and creates a winning strategy that draws upon the strengths of SAP and responds to specific market needs
  • Develops and applies an in-depth understanding of SAP’s processes/ procedures and sales tools/systems as well as enterprise market, including industry, marketplace, strategies and trends, competitors and competitive tactics to develop an effective long-term sales strategy and plan.
  • Support the strategic and must-win deals working alongside the Regional and Account Teams.
  • Demonstrates outstanding execution track along sales cycle, ensuring SAP’s sales methodologies and common processes are in place and defining clear engagement guidelines.
  • Monitors and takes necessary measures to ensure adequate pipeline of opportunities and demand generations for sustainable growth supporting regions
  • Builds a network of executive relationships across industry, community and business groups, and with key partners and customers to stay current on issues impacting business and sales, providing meaningful strategic advice to retain and grow their business through integrated solutions.
  • Inspires and influences internal stakeholders, experts and other resources not under direct control, helping to remove obstacles and aiming for goals achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with ASC, License Sales, Regions and other internal teams within SAP, Industry Sales teams, Solution Sales teams, Marketing, Center of Excellence, Solution & Industry Advisory, etc.

Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Proven track records in services sales and demonstrated success with business result delivery
  • 10+ years of experience in business development and sales of complex business software / IT solutions / SAP Services
  • Profound understanding of SAP Services portfolio and rich experiences of SAP projects
  • Demonstrated success with complex, long-cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market.
  • Demonstrated knowledge on consultative selling methodologies
  • Proven abilities on managing highly complex organizations and applying risk-mitigation strategies to customer
  • Knowledge of SAPs Partners, Competitors and the regional IT Industry
  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree (MBA would be advantageous)
  • Business English: fluent
