Job Description Roles & Responsibilities : Role : Support Specialist for SAP BW on HANA systems Responsibilities : Production Support & Maintenance Support business critical month-end and quarter-end activities Data reconciliation with SAP ECC / S4 and other source systems Troubleshoot BW/HANA performance issues Optimize query runtime and DB performance on HANA Analyze SQL execution and improve modeling logic Improve process chain performance and ETL processing time Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements Provide troubleshooting for reporting related issues Translate business requirements into technical solutions Provide user guidance and process improvements Participate in change request discussions Perform technical impact analysis Move transports across systems Perform unit testing and support UAT Maintain documentation and knowledge repository Qualifications Educational qualification: BE / BTech / MCA / MBA Experience : 3+ years of SAP BW experience (minimum) Experience in BW on HANA mandatory Mandatory/requires Skills : SAP BW on HANA modeling experience Good understanding of SAP data models SQL and HANA modeling expertise Experience with ADSO, CompositeProvider, Open ODS etc. Good understanding of ETL and SAP extractors Query Designer and Analysis for Office exposure ABAP debugging is an advantage Strong analytical ability Good communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently Capability to work in high-pressure timelines (month-end) Preferred Skills : SAP S/4HANA,SAC and PowerBI exposure preferred
