Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a ⁠⁠⁠SAP Cloud Infra Senior Consultant for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

JOB SUMMARY:

Our partner is undergoing a transformative journey to migrate from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, and we are looking to hire a Senior SAP S/4HANA Basis and SAP BTP Admin Consultant. This position will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the entire SAP landscape, ensuring the success of the transition and the ongoing operation of SAP systems. The Technical Consultant will provide expert support and administration for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Basis, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of Client ’s SAP systems.
This position requires deep technical expertise in SAP Basis, S/4HANA system administration, cloud technologies, and a hands-on approach to managing and optimizing both the SAP S/4HANA landscape and SAP BTP infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP Basis, including SAP S/4HANA administration, system performance tuning, and upgrades.
• Proven expertise in administering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and other systems.
• Strong experience in managing SAP Cloud environments, including the integration of SAP BTP with other SAP and third-party cloud services.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale SAP migrations and upgrades.
• Educational Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• SAP certification in SAP Basis and/or SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Technical Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA system architecture, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience in administering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and others.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
• Strong experience with SAP Solution Manager and other SAP monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, and SAP Gateway.
• Cloud & Hybrid Environments:
• Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly with SAP workloads.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud integration strategies, including SAP BTP integration with on-premise systems and other cloud solutions.
• Security & Compliance:
• Knowledge of security best practices for SAP systems, including user management, role-based access control (RBAC), and data encryption.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for SAP systems, particularly in the context of data privacy and security in cloud environments.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in the aviation or travel industry.
• Knowledge of SAP landscape management tools such as Landscape Management (LMDB).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA cloud deployments or SAP Fiori apps management.

• SAP S/4HANA Basis Administration:
• Senior Consultant the technical administration and management of SAP S/4HANA, ensuring system stability, performance, and security.
• Perform SAP S/4HANA system installations, upgrades, patches, and support package implementations.
• Manage system landscapes, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP, ensuring seamless integration between systems.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and manage system configurations to ensure optimal operation of SAP S/4HANA.
• Provide 24/7 technical support for SAP S/4HANA, including system monitoring, incident management, and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Perform client and user management, including roles and authorizations within SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) processes for SAP S/4HANA systems.
• SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Administration:
• Administer SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring the platform is optimized for SAP and non-SAP workloads.
• Manage the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle of SAP BTP services, including SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP AI/ML services, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and others.
• Integrate SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA and other third-party applications to support hybrid environments and cloud-based extensions.
• Implement and manage cloud-native technologies, such as Kubernetes and Docker, to deploy and manage BTP-based applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to SAP BTP services, providing support to resolve problems efficiently.
• SAP System Integration & Cloud Management:
• Senior Consultant the integration of SAP S/4HANA with SAP BTP and other cloud platforms, ensuring data consistency and high performance across the entire SAP landscape.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based SAP solutions, such as SAP Fiori, SAP S/4HANA extensions, and analytics powered by SAP BTP.
• Work closely with the cloud team to configure and maintain hybrid cloud environments that support SAP workloads.
• Oversee the configuration of cloud storage, data management, and security for SAP systems hosted on SAP BTP or other cloud providers.
• Security & Compliance:
• Ensure SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments comply with internal security policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
• Administer SAP security roles, authorizations, and profiles to safeguard data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Implement and enforce secure network communications between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and other systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and remediation of identified risks across the SAP landscape.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
• Monitor SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP systems for performance issues, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Perform proactive system tuning, load balancing, and optimization tasks to ensure high system availability and performance.
• Analyze SAP workload and performance metrics, providing recommendations to enhance system efficiency.
• Implement and manage SAP Solution Manager and other tools to monitor system performance, availability, and overall health.
• Upgrade, Migration & Patching:
• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and patches for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Basis, and SAP BTP components, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Senior Consultant technical assessments for SAP S/4HANA migrations, including system sizing, technical prerequisites, and the migration strategy.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure successful execution of the SAP S/4HANA upgrade and migration projects.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide hands-on support to troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues related to SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Basis.
• Liaise with SAP support for escalated issues and work closely with SAP’s support teams to address technical challenges in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the SAP systems are performing optimally by quickly identifying root causes of issues and applying corrective actions.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Work closely with SAP functional teams, developers, and IT operations teams to ensure seamless system integration, data flows, and infrastructure alignment.
• Collaborate with SAP developers and consultants to support custom developments, integrations, and extensions.
• Participate in the design and architecture of SAP solutions, providing technical insights to ensure system scalability and performance.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management:
• Document all SAP system configurations, installations, patches, performance optimizations, and technical solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive records for system audits, compliance checks, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure that technical documentation is up to date and easily accessible for team members and stakeholders.
• Training and Knowledge Transfer:
• Provide training to junior Basis team members on SAP system administration, troubleshooting, and best practices for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure the team is equipped to manage day-to-day SAP operations and support.
