Please note: This position requires the candidate’s physical presence in the UAE. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available at this time. The selected candidate should be able to relocate and start within one month from offer acceptance.

JOB SUMMARY:

Our partner is undergoing a transformative journey to migrate from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, and we are looking to hire a Senior SAP S/4HANA Basis and SAP BTP Admin Consultant. This position will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the entire SAP landscape, ensuring the success of the transition and the ongoing operation of SAP systems. The Technical Consultant will provide expert support and administration for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Basis, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of Client ’s SAP systems.
This position requires deep technical expertise in SAP Basis, S/4HANA system administration, cloud technologies, and a hands-on approach to managing and optimizing both the SAP S/4HANA landscape and SAP BTP infrastructure.

Responsibilities:SAP S/4HANA Basis Administration:

• Senior Consultant the technical administration and management of SAP S/4HANA, ensuring system stability, performance, and security.
• Perform SAP S/4HANA system installations, upgrades, patches, and support package implementations.
• Manage system landscapes, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP, ensuring seamless integration between systems.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and manage system configurations to ensure optimal operation of SAP S/4HANA.
• Provide 24/7 technical support for SAP S/4HANA, including system monitoring, incident management, and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Perform client and user management, including roles and authorizations within SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) processes for SAP S/4HANA systems.

DOCUMENTATION & KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT:

• Document all SAP system configurations, installations, patches, performance optimizations, and technical solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive records for system audits, compliance checks, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure that technical documentation is up to date and easily accessible for team members and stakeholders.

TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER:

• Provide training to junior Basis team members on SAP system administration, troubleshooting, and best practices for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure the team is equipped to manage day-to-day SAP operations and support.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP Basis, including SAP S/4HANA administration, system performance tuning, and upgrades.
• Proven expertise in administering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and other systems.
• Strong experience in managing SAP Cloud environments, including the integration of SAP BTP with other SAP and third-party cloud services.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale SAP migrations and upgrades.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• SAP certification in SAP Basis and/or SAP S/4HANA is preferred.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in the aviation or travel industry.
• Knowledge of SAP landscape management tools such as Landscape Management (LMDB).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA cloud deployments or SAP Fiori apps management.
