JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Application Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing technical and functional support for our SAP ECC 6 system, ensuring the smooth operation of core business processes. You will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and optimize workflows.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. SAP certifications are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC 6, with deep functional knowledge in:
  • Materials Management (MM)
  • Warehouse Management (WM)
  • Sales and Distribution (SD) (preferred over other optional modules).
  • Strong understanding of business processes related to procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and sales order processing.
  • SAP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC 6 architecture, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting within MM, WM, and SD modules.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex SAP issues efficiently, with a focus on root cause analysis and recommendations.
  • Integration Knowledge: Experience with SAP integration points across modules (e.g., MM with SD, WM with MM) and external systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into business terms and vice versa.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, business users, and technical experts to deliver solutions.
  • Documentation & Training: Experience in creating technical documentation and providing user training on SAP functionalities.
  • Language: Professional proficiency in English communication is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • SAP certifications in MM, WM, or SD.
  • Experience in large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and managing SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities
  • Module-Specific Support: Provide expert-level functional and technical support for SAP ECC 6 modules, with a primary focus on Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
  • Incident Management: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex SAP-related incidents and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze system errors, bugs, and configuration issues, working closely with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
  • System Enhancements: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and configure SAP modules to meet business needs.
  • Business Process Optimization: Streamline workflows and optimize processes within MM, WM, and SD modules to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Change & Release Management: Support testing, validation, and implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure system stability and continuity.
  • Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation, and provide end-user training to ensure proper utilization of SAP systems.
  • Configuration & Customization: Lead the configuration and customization of SAP ECC 6 modules to align with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Integration Support: Ensure seamless integration of SAP ECC 6 with other business systems and applications.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Monitor SAP systems proactively to prevent potential issues, ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and compliance.
  • User Support: Act as the primary point of contact for SAP ECC 6-related issues within supported modules, providing advanced troubleshooting and support for end-users.
