OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

To assist in the provision of SAP support to the business, aid the department by being an additional interface with the SAP control team in our Group HQ in Italy. Assist in the provision of first line support to UK SAP users.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ROLE & MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

SAP Support:
Act as an additional point of contact for Group HQ SAP team.
Aid in managing the SAP Support ticketing service – SAP technical support to all UK end users:
· Assist in being responsible for handling tickets and application support to the end users
· Fix bugs if any, diagnose, analyse and solve the issue
· Support development and implementation of any upgrades and enhancements
· Interact with ABAPer’s to develop programs
· Train end users and prepare user training material
Aid in the implementation of SAP improvements, for example SAP Hana, warehouse management system (WMS) and SAC Reporting amongst others. Compiling and delivering step-by-step user guides and presentations
Performing one to one training with SAP users
Reviewing, implementing and driving improvement activities to enhance SAP usage and reporting
Providing cross functional SAP operational support
Supporting month end processes and reporting across the company
SAP Reporting:
Create and run SAP scripting routines in order to increase efficiency for SAP users
Create custom reports using “SAP Queries and analysis” on request and update others in the organisation.
Use and generate reports from SAP4Hana Analytics
Maintain and issue company critical KPI’s and reporting across all workstreams and in support of all business departments
SAP Data Maintenance:
Design, configure and support:
· Production orders
· BOMs
· Recipes
· Routings
· Material Master Data
· Reference operation sets
· Production versions
· Work centres
Update, maintain and govern MRP related Master data to support the achievement of the correct inventory levels and stability to operations
Maintain and monitor MRP performance to ensure that it is up to date and meets the latest business requirements
Update and support Material Costing and Valuation data to deliver the correct standard and moving average price for master data
Work with FICO / Operations to ensure comprehensive assessment of costs
Receive engineering change notices and interpreting relevant data to aid BOM updates with respect to added items, deleted items, quantity changes, corrections and effective dates
Monitor, perform and support the confirmation process for semi-finished products
Monitor and support the confirmation process of finished goods
Monitor, perform and support scrap processing and management within SAP
Inventory Control:
Run and report KPIs and records for Bill of material updates, stock valuation, company’s revenue
Analyse and report on stock adjustments and levels, obsolete stock, dead stock and scrap
Investigate actions from a systems perspective in relation to material shortages that affect production
Investigate and report on posting goods movements, goods issues and performing transfer postings on SAP
Support and suggest system improvement actions in order to improve the effective management of inward flow of inventory
Assist in the delivery of new systems starter training courses to Material Controllers, Cycle Counters and other SAP users alongside support roles working with MRP, Production and Inventory Control
Aid in the configuration and support of cycle count processes for all goods and materials so as to validate inventory accuracy.
Monitor and support barcode scanning across the production and logistics departments
Miscellaneous:
Provide telephone support where required
Any other reasonable duties
