SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading E2E SAP data migration projects, with in-depth knowledge of SAP modules and associated data migration tools across greenfield, brownfield or SDT migrations.
  • Proficiency in SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and other 3rd party ETL tools for data mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management with experience using MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in data quality assurance and governance practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations as well as experienced in data masking and data scrambling in data migration
  • Certifications in SAP modules or data migration tools.

Responsibilities
  • Leading end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data transferred from legacy systems to SAP platforms.
  • Defining the data migration Strategy, architecture, and conversion test cycles.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders, to gather requirements.
  • Designing and implementing data mapping, transformation, and validation processes using data migration toolset such as SAP Data Services, LSMW,BAPI, LTMC or others such as Syniti ADM.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks associated with data migration, maintaining data quality and governance standards.
  • Ensuring impact of Data Migration on Process, Solutions, Interfaces and Integration are identified, reported and managed.
  • Communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, and addressing concerns or queries.
  • Implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data migration processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations relevant to the organisation.
