We are seeking a results-driven SAP Development Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business users in North America and Information Systems (IS) teams in our New Zealand Headquarters, ensuring that technical solutions (i.e. SAP) meet organizational goals. This role will be responsible for supporting North America by gathering requirements, configuring SAP modules, supporting daily operations, working with third-party SAP consultants/developers/specialists, and driving system enhancements. This role is an in-office role, operating out of our Riverside, MO office. Flexibility in working hours may be required, including occasional late meetings, to accommodate collaboration with teams in the New Zealand time zone.
End-to-End Solution Design and Configuration Execution
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in North America to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
- Lead the design and rollout of new systems, procedures, and business functionalities to support evolving business needs.
- Configure SAP modules to meet business needs.
- Liaise with external consultants and SAP support as needed.
- Translate Business requirements into Design solutions.
- Design configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.
- Configure the system to match the design solution.
- Complete all appropriate documentation.
SAP Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Perform system testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide training.
- Contribute to the implementation of new systems, processes, and procedures, including coordinating and delivering training to impacted business units.
- Identify and resolve SAP, or other system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support SAP upgrades, patching, and enhancements.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of system processes, configurations, and changes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and provide subject matter expertise.
- Act as North America’s advocate to the Global IS development team.
- Long term planning on strategic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related fields
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Functional Analyst
- Experience driving from beginning to end enhancement/integration
- Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and configuration
- Experience with requirement gathering, process mapping, and functional documentation
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- SAP certification in one or more functional modules
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP modules
- Project management or Agile/Scrum experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- In-depth technical knowledge in system administration and monitoring
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with system provisioning, monitoring and maintenance for SAP Cloud system landscapes, SAP Cloud Identity and SAP Business Technology Platform
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment
