We are seeking a SAP Development & BTP Lead to oversee all custom development and cloud extensibility within our RISE with SAP Private Cloud deployment. This role is central to ensuring clean-core-compliant development, delivering automation, workflow solutions, and cloud-ready enhancements across the SAP landscape. You will collaborate closely with Integration, BASIS/Cloud Operations, Security, Functional teams, and System Integrators to ensure that all development meets governance, quality, and cloud standards. This is a fixed-term contract until mid-2028 based in Surry Hills. What we offer? Opportunities to support your local community through paid community leave WGEA certified work environment Flexible working across most of our roles A socially responsible work environment, on track to be carbon neutral by 2030 Great benefits to support your health and wellbeing, including access to discounted products Mental health support for you and your family through our Sonder assistance program Key Responsibilities: Lead development teams across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and BTP environments, managing sprint planning, backlogs, resourcing, and technical delivery Define and enforce development standards aligned with clean-core principles, cloud extensibility frameworks, and RISE Private Cloud guidelines Drive SAP BTP development including Fiori/UI5 applications, workflows, CAP/RAP services, side-by-side extensions, and event-driven integration patterns Provide hands-on guidance in ABAP enhancement frameworks, CDS views, RAP, and cloud-compliant custom development Collaborate with System Integrators and internal teams to ensure developments integrate seamlessly with SAP modules, cloud infrastructure, and security standards Conduct technical reviews to ensure quality, scalability, performance, and cloud readiness across all custom developments Promote reusability, standardisation, and adoption of SAP-recommended development toolsets and frameworks (BAS, RAP, CAP) Continuously evaluate SAP BTP innovations and emerging tools to enhance cloud extensibility, automation, and development efficiency Who are you? 12–15+ years SAP development experience, including extensive cloud deployments and RISE with SAP Private Cloud SAP-certified in ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and BTP/Extension Suite Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Workflow, CAP/RAP), UI5 apps, ABAP enhancement frameworks, and CDS-based development Experienced in leading development teams and managing SI partners across large-scale ERP programs Agile delivery mindset, able to translate complex technical requirements into scalable, cloud-ready solutions Strategic, collaborative, resilient, and customer-focused, with a passion for driving innovation and cloud transformation Agencies please note: this recruitment assignment is being managed directly by Blackmores Talent Acquisition team.
