IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Extensive experience in client-facing consulting roles, with a proven track record of leading SAP transformation programs for large, complex organizations.
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA and core SAP modules (Finance, HR, Supply Chain), including target state definition, business case development, and migration planning.
• Demonstrated ability to baseline existing SAP/ERP environments and architect transition strategies to S/4HANA-enabled future states.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to CxO-level audiences.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and deliver compelling analysis and presentations that drive client decision-making.
• Experience in developing and maturing SAP service offerings, including methodologies, deliverables, and go-to-market plans.
• Strong business development acumen, with a history of identifying and realizing SAP/ERP expansion opportunities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of SAP trends, best practices, and industry developments.
• Eligible for Finnish security clearance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Gartner Consulting is experiencing accelerating demand for independent, strategic advice in the SAP domain. We are seeking seasoned SAP professionals to join our Nordic & European team, delivering end-to-end SAP strategy and transformation services that drive measurable client value and impact. You will work across both public sector and commercial industries, partnering with leading organizations to guide their SAP transformation journeys—especially the transition to S/4HANA.
As a member of our expert team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing SAP-enabled business transformations, moving beyond strategy development to deliver tangible value realization. You will contribute to the ongoing development and maturity of Gartner’s Enterprise Applications consulting practice, leveraging Gartner’s research and best practices to enhance client outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise C-suite and senior stakeholders on SAP strategy, transformation roadmaps, and S/4HANA migration, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Drive and guide SAP transformation engagements, from initial strategic assessment and business case development through implementation, change management, and value realization.
• Develop and refine methodologies, tools, and approaches to accelerate client impact and ensure delivery excellence.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships and grow the SAP consulting practice across the Nordic and EMEA regions.
• Deliver quality assurance on key project deliverables, ensuring alignment with Gartner’s high standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, share thought leadership, and contribute to go-to-market strategies.
