JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies and have experience in industrial warehouse operations with enterprise software implementations, particularly in SAP environments. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to timelines and budgets. This role requires travel to customer and RLO2 designated sites as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in project management within an IT, hardware or software development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP systems and enterprise software implementations.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Jira, VersionOne, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • PMP Certification (required).
  • SAP EWM certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in SAP EWM project management and warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience in SAP EWM configuration (Plants, SLOC, Warehouse Monitor) and end-to-end warehouse process design.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration tools and methodologies (API, OData, BAPI, BADI).
  • Experience delivering projects in defense logistics or government contracting environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams in large-scale integratoin projects.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving project needs.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $100.00 - $105.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of warehouse modernization and SAP projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe to manage project lifecycles effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop project schedules, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • On-ground oversight the execution of test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management processes to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Manage project documentation using tools like Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and TFS to maintain transparency and track progress.
  • Lead SAP EWM implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Oversee project governance, risk management, issue tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement disaster recovery plans as necessary to mitigate potential issues during project execution.
  • Lead integration initiatives involving APIs, OData services, BAPIs, BADIs, and custom enhancements.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity with enterprise systems, third-party tools, and emerging defense logistics technologies.
