Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EWM Technical Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and ABAP development within S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have a background in the Aerospace & Defense sector and a deep understanding of warehouse management, logistics, and supply chain processes. This role requires expertise in modern SAP development frameworks—RAP, CDS, SAPUI5, BAS, GitLab, and BAPI—to design and deliver scalable, high-performance EWM solutions. The position also demands adherence to compliance requirements (ITAR/DFARS) and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance SAP EWM solutions using ABAP and advanced SAP frameworks (RAP, CDS, SAPUI5). Implement and maintain EWM integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems through BAPI, IDocs, and OData services. Translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable, and compliant technical solutions aligned with Aerospace & Defense standards. Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and architects to optimize warehouse management and logistics processes. Utilize SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and GitLab for cloud-based development, version control, and DevOps pipeline management. Conduct technical reviews, performance tuning, and debugging to ensure stability, reliability, and compliance with security regulations (ITAR, DFARS). Prepare and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and system configuration guides. Participate in testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities for SAP EWM-related initiatives. Requirements Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on development in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). Industry Experience: Prior work in the Aerospace & Defense sector highly preferred. Technical Proficiency: Advanced ABAP development within S/4HANA environments. Expertise in RAP (Managed/Unmanaged), CDS, ACL, SAPUI5, BAS, GitLab, and BAPI. Understanding of warehouse management and supply chain workflows. Exposure to cloud-based SAP development and modern DevOps practices. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with ITAR and DFARS regulations preferred. Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
