Job Description S/4HANA Finance migration consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating the migration of financial data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA Finance modules. This role requires deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance, data migration methodologies, and strong analytical skills to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation projects. Analyze legacy financial data and map it accurately to SAP S/4HANA Finance data structures (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, etc.). Design and develop data migration strategies, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL). Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and IT teams to understand data requirements and resolve data inconsistencies. Develop and maintain migration tools, scripts, and templates (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit). Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity and completeness after migration. Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues and errors in coordination with the technical team. Document migration processes, data mapping, test cases, and results. Support cutover planning and post-migration support to ensure smooth transition and system stabilization. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and audit requirements related to data governance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in SAP S/4HANA Finance data migration or related SAP finance modules. Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and business processes. Hands-on experience with data migration tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, or equivalent. Familiarity with legacy systems and ERP data structures. Excellent SQL and data manipulation skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Experience in financial data reconciliation and validation processes. Knowledge of SAP FI, CO, and Asset Accounting modules preferred. Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies is a plus.
