The Job
We are looking for an SAP FICO Consultant FICO (R2R workstream) to further optimize and enhance our financial processes. You will work closely together with the Business Process Owner (R2R) and Key-users in the Finance department. You have an in-depth understanding of business processes to be able to evaluate the internal demands and requirements in finance. You will identify use cases and transform them into functional requirements to configure them in SAP. If a business requirement cannot be met by standard SAP solutions, then the functional consultant must specify the enhancements together with the Developer or other SAP Functional Consultants in the team. You are the liaison between the Business and Technology department.

Your Mission

  • Consulting with functional/technology experts and management to determine business needs and requirements; Designing, developing, deploying and testing use cases in standard SAP solutions also ensuring smooth system integration;
  • Preparing comprehensive documentation of SAP functional processes, configurations, test cases, and results, as well as developing clear guidelines to assist other consultants in implementing further changes;
  • Taking care that proper training is given to stakeholders;
  • Actively recommending improvements in response to internal requirements, informed professional judgement, external expertise, and ongoing advancements provided by SAP;
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations;
  • Proactively providing consulting services and lead the way to business improvements which helps stichd business in short, middle and long term.

Your Talent

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience as an SAP FICO consultant in a similar industry has a big advantage;
  • Proven track record and in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana implementations, deployment and integration solutions;
  • Ability to understand business processes from a (internal) customer perspective;
  • Great collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills;
  • Work self-directed and independently;
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Must be results oriented and demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude.

This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
To apply for this role, you must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We will not apply for work or residence permits.
