Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP S/4HANA FICO, resolving incidents and service requests within SLA timelines.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Analyze business requirements and implement enhancements across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Controlling.
• Configure SAP FICO modules, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with ABAP developers for custom developments.
• Ensure seamless integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as MM and SD.
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and support change/release management activities.
• Maintain functional documentation, provide user training, and act as the FICO Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Center of Excellence (CoE).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, including at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation and Application Management Support (AMS).
• Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Margin Analysis (CO-PA).
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, and financial closing processes.
• Strong SAP FICO configuration skills and experience preparing functional specifications for ABAP developments (RICEFW).
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Tax configuration, tax engine integration (Vertex/Avalara/SAP Tax Service), and MM/SD integration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance/FICO Certification is preferred.
• Experience in large-scale, multi-entity, multi-currency SAP environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile methodologies, Central Finance, SAP Group Reporting, or SAP CAR is a plus.
