SAP FINANCIALS CONSULTANT – Alexandria, Virginia Overview This is a highimpact, onsite role working in a classified environment, focused on SAP finance and funds management capabilities that enable sensitive Army financial operations. Responsibilities • Lead requirements gathering and solution design sessions for SAP Finance and Funds Management processes within GFEBSSA (GL, AP, AR, funds, spending chain, cost management). • Configure and support SAP FI, FM, CO, and related components to meet Army financial, audit, and compliance requirements in a classified setting. • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including Cost Management, Spending Chain, Assets/PP&E, Real Property, and Procurement, to deliver integrated endtoend solutions. • Partner with technical teams (BASIS, security, middleware, development) to translate functional requirements into secure, robust technical designs. • Support maintenance, enhancements, and deployments for GFEBSSA capabilities, including issue resolution and production support for financerelated processes. • Develop and execute test strategies and test cases for finance, funds management, and cost processes, ensuring data integrity and alignment with Army business rules and policy. • Provide subjectmatter expertise and guidance to business users and government stakeholders, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and user support. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum 7 years’ recent hands on experience with the above listed skills, SAP experience in FI (GL/AP/AR), FM, CO, Spending Chain, or Assets/PP&E, ideally on federal or DoD programs, lead requirements workshops and solution design sessions for SAP financial processes, in GFEBS, GFEBS-SA, other US Army SAP ERP enterprise enviornment. • REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS/BA STEM Degree or Related Fields. • MUST be available to work on site at an Alexandria, Virginia site Monday - Firday weekly. • REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret.
