Job Description Role: SAP IBP solution Architect Location: Santa Clara, CA (5 days onsite role) Type: Contract Job Summary: Seeking an experienced SAP IBP Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in supply chain planning processes and SAP IBP modules, with a strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end SAP IBP solution architecture and design across demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. • Design and configure SAP IBP modules including Demand, Supply, Response, Inventory, and Control Tower. • Integrate SAP IBP with other SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, APO, Ariba, external data sources). • Provide guidance on best practices, data modeling, and performance optimization. • Lead workshops, training sessions, and documentation efforts for end-users and technical teams. • Support project management activities including timelines, resource planning, and risk mitigation. • Stay current with SAP IBP product updates and roadmap to advise on future enhancements. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. • 10+ years of experience in SAP solutions, with at least 3 years in SAP IBP. • Proven experience in implementing and architecting SAP IBP solutions across multiple modules. • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and industry best practices. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • SAP IBP certification is a plus. Preferred Skills: • Experience with S/4HANA • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior consultants. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
