POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP IS-Utilities Test Lead to join as an independent contractor for a large-scale utility’s modernization project. This role will lead the testing strategy, execution, and quality assurance for SAP IS-U implementations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering reliable outcomes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of SAP IS-Utilities (IS-U/CIS) experience with focus on testing leadership
• Proven expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management for large-scale IS-U implementations
• Hands-on experience developing and executing SAP IS-U test cases, managing environments, and defect lifecycle
• Strong understanding of utilities business processes and IS-U modules (Billing, FICA, Device Management)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with S/4HANA Utilities implementations
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Tricentis, HP ALM, Worksoft)
• Prior consulting experience in utilities CIS testing programs

JOB ROLE: SAP IS-UTILITIES (IS-U) TEST LEAD – INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR (1099)

Work Location: Remote, with periodic on-site presence in Phoenix, Arizona
Project Duration: Multi-year engagement with an initial 19-month period
Start Date: Immediate (Open until filled)
Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Travel Requirements: On-site visits to client location in Phoenix, AZ, approximately biweekly or as requested
