About the Role
We are looking for experienced SAP MRO Consultants with a strong background in Aerospace & Defense (A&D). The role involves delivering end-to-end SAP MRO solutions to support aircraft/helicopter/defense equipment maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment programs. You will work with A&D clients to streamline complex after-market services, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize lifecycle support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MRO implementations, rollouts, and support projects within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Configure and optimize MRO-specific functionalities:
• Maintenance planning & scheduling
• Component overhaul and repair orders
• Service notifications and work packages
• Tooling & resource planning
• Warranty, contracts, and billing for MRO services
• Integrate MRO with related modules: SD (Order-to-Cash), MM, PP, FI/CO, PM, PS, and QM.
• Ensure compliance with A&D regulatory standards (ITAR, FAA/EASA, defense logistics, export control).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, provide SAP best practices, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Support testing, data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Work on interfaces (EDI/IDoc, BAPI, BADI, RFCs, Web Services) with external systems (MES, PLM, GTS).
• Provide functional expertise for S/4HANA MRO scenarios and digital transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–20 years of SAP experience with at least 5+ years in SAP MRO/A&D projects.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end MRO processes:
• Line & base maintenance
• Depot-level repair
• Component MRO (rotable/repairable spares)
• Service contracts & warranty management
• Maintenance cost tracking and revenue recognition
• Hands-on experience in configuration and integration.
• Experience in S/4HANA MRO functionalities (preferable).
• Proven experience in Aerospace & Defense-specific MRO programs (aircraft, helicopters, defense systems).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP A&D Add-ons for MRO.
• Exposure to SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) for compliance and export control.
• Familiarity with IoT, predictive maintenance, and digital twin solutions in A&D.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe project delivery.
