Job Title: SAP Operations Lead - Finance

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced SAP Operations Lead - Finance to oversee the management of the customer Finance platform, ensuring smooth operations and effective handling of BAU activities. The ideal candidate will lead a team of SAP FI, ABAP, and BASIS consultants, ensuring seamless execution of finance-related tasks, incident management, and change management processes. Key Responsibilities:Manage the customer Finance platform with a dedicated team of SAP FI, ABAP, and BASIS consultants.
• Monitor and manage BAU activities, including FSCD daily processing, incident resolution, and change management.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on BAU activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Oversee risk events, conduct Post-Incident Reviews (PIR), and implement necessary controls or resolutions.
• Manage Finance month-end activities and weekend FSCD execution.
• Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and provide BAU clearance for production changes.
• Deliver weekly and monthly updates on Finance platform operations to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify BAU pain points and propose solutions to optimize efficiency and resolve operational issues.
• Required Skills & Experience:Strong expertise in SAP FI, SAP ABAP, and SAP FI-FSCD.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Jira for incident and change management.
• Proven ability to manage and lead SAP operations teams effectively.
• Solid understanding of Finance processes, month-end activities, and FSCD execution.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide clear and concise updates.
• Experience in risk management, PIR, and implementing necessary controls.
• Ability to identify and resolve BAU pain points efficiently.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, IT, or a related field.
• SAP FI or ABAP certification is an advantage.
• Experience in working within large-scale SAP environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
