We are looking for SAP Payroll Consultant USA Resource Description: We are seeking an experienced Functional SAP HR Consultant with strong expertise in U.S. HR processes and systems to support our SAP HCM upgrade from EHP4 to EHP8. The consultant will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring HR requirements are translated into system solutions while maintaining compliance with U.S. HR and payroll standards. This role will focus on functional design, configuration, testing, and business process validation throughout the upgrade lifecycle. Requirements: 10+ years of functional consulting experience in SAP HR / HCM. Proven experience with SAP HCM upgrades (EHP4 → EHP8 preferred). Strong knowledge of Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Benefits, and Time Management in a U.S. business context. Familiarity with U.S. regulatory and compliance requirements (ACA, FMLA, HIPAA, etc.). Experience working with U.S. payroll integration (BSI Tax Factory, wage types, benefits deductions, etc.). Hands-on involvement in SPDD/SPAU adjustments, regression testing, and cutover activities. Strong functional documentation, process mapping, and requirements gathering skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with HR, IT, and payroll teams. SAP HR certification is an advantage. Responsibilities: Conduct impact analysis of the EHP4 → EHP8 upgrade on HR master data, processes, and integrations. Perform functional configuration in PA, OM, Time Management, and Benefits as required. Collaborate with payroll consultants (U.S. and Mexico) to ensure smooth HR–Payroll integration post-upgrade. Support data validation, regression testing, and UAT for HR modules. Identify and resolve functional issues related to employee data, benefits, and time management. Ensure compliance with U.S. HR legal and statutory requirements in the upgraded system. Work with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and functional specifications. Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal HR and IT teams. Act as the HR functional SME for U.S. processes during the upgrade project.
