Description

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in SAP HCM Payroll with at least 1 end-to-end Singapore Payroll implementation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in payroll schemas, PCRs, wage type configuration, off-cycle payroll, and retro calculations.
  • Knowledge of SAP Time Management and its integration with Payroll is advantageous.
  • Experience in payroll posting to Finance (FI/CO).
  • Familiarity with Payroll Control Center (PCC) is a plus.

FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Solid understanding of Singapore payroll statutory requirements and reporting.
  • Good knowledge of HR processes (hire-to-retire) and their payroll impact.
  • Experience in payroll data migration and cutover activities.

SOFT SKILLS

Responsibilities

SAP Payroll Configuration & Maintenance: Configure and maintain SAP HCM Payroll for Singapore, including wage types, schemas, PCRs, features, and rules. Ensure seamless integration between Time, Payroll, and Finance modules. Manage Payroll control records, posting runs, and off-cycle payroll processes.
Payroll Processing & Support : Lead payroll runs (simulation and live) with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage retroactive accounting, arrears, and payroll adjustments.Handle complex payroll cases such as terminations, long-term absences, bonuses, and allowances.
Statutory Compliance : Ensure payroll compliance with Singapore statutory requirements (CPF, SDL, CDAC, MBMF, SINDA, IRAS Auto-Inclusion Scheme, NS Claims, etc.). Monitor legislative updates and apply required SAP configuration changes.
Testing & Quality Assurance : Design and execute Unit, Integration, and UAT testing cycles. Validate payroll simulation results, investigate anomalies, and resolve discrepancies. Support year-end statutory reporting and submissions (IR8A, IR8S, Appendix 8A/8B, AIS).
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory : Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver payroll solutions. Provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes, enhancements, and best practices. Act as the primary contact for payroll-related incidents, queries, and change requests.
Documentation & Training : Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, and SOPs. Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for HR/Payroll teams.
