SAP Support Production Planning Consultant Location: Chennai, India Work Mode: Onsite Employment type: Permanent Our client operates globally with more than 12,000 employees across 40+ countries and 51 manufacturing facilities. We are seeking an experienced SAP Support Production Planning Consultant to ensure the stability, performance, and alignment of SAP PP processes with Group standards during both support and project activities. Responsibilities Ensure changes to implementations maximise synergy, savings, and benefits for the Group and OPCOs. Collaborate with other consultants to maintain a unified support approach with common data structures and definitions. Stay updated as the SAP PP-expert by following system and market developments. Keep line managers informed about status, plans, potential issues, and improvement proposals for support cases and projects. Ensure consulting work quality and efficiency, adhering to project assistance agreements. Work according to Rockwool Group's procedures, policies, and guidelines, with attention to RockBis Policies and Informatics Guidelines. Requirements Must-have: Technical bachelor’s degree In-depth knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) Minimum 4-6 years of full-time working and proven hands-on experience in SAP PP Experience in Production planning Experience in Demand management Experience in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Experience in Production orders and execution Experience in Capacity planning Experience in Shop floor integration Experience with Master data (BOM, routing, work centers) Fluent communication in English (verbal and written), with strong presentation and documentation skills Nice-to-have: Excellent interaction skills with business and IT teams in Europe, Asia, and North America Global implementation and shared services experience Experience with JIRA, Xurrent, or comparable tools Experience with integration to other SAP modules (MM, FI, CO, EWM) Why Join Us At Rockwool, we are committed to fostering long-term, stable employment relationships.
