Position Summary The SAP BTP Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) initiatives across the enterprise. This role oversees end-to-end project governance, including solution design coordination, integration oversight, platform enablement, stakeholder management, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy. The SAP BTP PM will work closely with product owners, SAP architects, functional and technical teams, and external partners to ensure timely, secure, and high-quality delivery of SAP BTP services and applications. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Governance Lead full lifecycle delivery of SAP BTP projects, including scoping, planning, resourcing, budgeting, and risk management. Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with enterprise PMO standards. Manage project timelines, deliverables, change requests, and status reporting to senior leadership. Solution Delivery & Technical Coordination Translate business requirements into actionable SAP BTP solution plans, covering integration, extensibility, automation, and analytics use cases. Coordinate design and development activities across SAP BTP services (e.g., Integration Suite, Extension Suite, CAP/Node.js/JAVA apps, SAP Build, Workflow Management). Ensure technical alignment with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, third-party systems, and enterprise integration platforms. Stakeholder Management Engage business stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria. Facilitate cross-functional workshops, technical design sessions, and architecture reviews. Manage vendor and consulting partners to ensure delivery quality and adherence to SLAs. Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers; develop and execute mitigation strategies. Drive quality assurance processes, including testing governance, security reviews, and performance validation. Ensure deliverables conform to enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards (e.g., data privacy, cloud policies). Operational Enablement Oversee deployment, cutover, hypercare, and transition-to-operations activities. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth handover, documentation completeness, and ongoing platform support readiness. Qualifications & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of IT project management experience, including at least 3 years managing SAP cloud/BTP initiatives. Strong understanding of SAP BTP capabilities—Integration Suite, Extension Suite, SAP Build, Security & User Management, Cloud Connector, etc. Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional SAP projects in agile, hybrid, or waterfall environments. Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Clarity, etc.). Strong leadership, communication, vendor management, and stakeholder alignment capabilities. Preferred SAP BTP certifications (e.g., SAP BTP Integration, SAP BTP Extension Developer). Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations or RISE with SAP programs. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise integration patterns. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications.
