JOB SUMMARY:

The SAP Project Manager for S/4HANA Implementation is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives. This role involves coordinating project resources, defining project scope, tracking progress, managing risks, and working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the successful deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Coordinate project activities, tasks, and resources to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring smooth and clear communication with stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, external vendors, and senior leadership.
  • Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and facilitate decision-making at all levels.
  • Regularly report project progress to stakeholders, addressing risks, challenges, and changes to the project scope.
  • Lead and manage the project team, which may include internal resources, external vendors, and consultants.
  • Allocate resources appropriately based on project needs, skills, and availability.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring that team members are aligned and working towards common project goals.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to promote professional development.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and proactively resolve any project issues that may arise.
  • Document and communicate project risks and issues to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the SAP S/4HANA implementation meet the defined quality standards and business requirements.
  • Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure that the solution works as expected before deployment.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue logs.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management, highlighting key accomplishments, risks, and upcoming milestones.Ensure that the project is closed out effectively with all documentation finalized, lessons learned recorded, and post-implementation support in place.
