Join a High-Impact Program as a Deployment Lead – DC Ops Project (SAP S/4HANA)
About the Project
Our client, a major player in the retail industry, is driving a digital transformation under the S/4HANA (S4) Program, focused on optimizing supply chain operations between stores, distribution centers, and suppliers. The DC Ops project is a key initiative within this program, implementing a modern solution built on SAP S/4HANA, tightly integrated with systems like SAPECC, WMS, and APS.
Your Role
As a Deployment Lead, you’ll play a central role in planning and executing the successful rollout of this supply chain solution. You’ll coordinate and manage deployment deliverables, cutover activities, and data migration strategies—ensuring minimal disruption and a smooth go-live.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage all deployment deliverables
• Plan and execute data migration, ETL, and reconciliation
• Develop detailed cutover and deployment execution playbooks
• Organize and oversee operations ramp-down and ramp-up activities
• Conduct deployment rehearsals and contingency planning
• Create and execute a comprehensive Hypercare plan

What We’re Looking For

Professional Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar deployment lead role within an SAP environment
• Solid understanding of integrations across SAP ECC, WMS, APS, and S/4HANA
• Background in the retail sector is highly preferred
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments

• Pragmatic and hands-on approach
• Strong self-starter with minimal supervision required
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English

What You Need to Know

• Location: Veghel, Netherlands
• On-site Requirement: 2–3 days per week (on average, depending on phase)
• Contract Duration: 6 months initially (with ideal extension to 1.5 to 2 years)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate: Competitive
• Commitment: Full-time (minimum 4 days/week)
