JOB DESCRIPTION:
The SAP S/4HANA Technical Lead is a Key Personnel role supporting a Financial Systems Modernization (FSM) program, which is transitioning multiple components from legacy financial, procurement, and asset systems to a modern SAP S/4HANA ERP environment. The LTM provides technical leadership across all aspects of data modeling, warehousing, system integration, and extract-transform-load (ETL) activities. This role oversees the architecture, optimization, and security compliance of the Financial Data Model (FDM) hosted in AWS GovCloud and supports full lifecycle coordination with the System Integrator, the Program Management Office, and other stakeholders to ensure successful data migration to SAP S/4HANA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Informatica PowerCenter or IICS Certified Developer
- Microsoft Data Analyst Associate (Power BI)
EXPERIENCE:
- 8 years as a Lead Technical Architect or Manager overseeing enterprise data systems
- 8 years leading data modeling, data warehousing, and data migration efforts
- 8 years of hands-on AWS Console and RDS experience
- 8 years of Oracle database experience
- 5 years of Informatica experience with IICS, PowerCenter, and IDQ
- 5 years as a business intelligence/reporting architect, supporting tools such as PowerBI
SKILLS:
- Strong expertise in ETL processes, data architecture, and system performance optimization
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical design reviews, interface builds, and infrastructure planning
- Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS GovCloud, and enterprise reporting integrations
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity compliance in federal cloud environments (e.g., FedRAMP)
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including federal SMEs, ISSOs, and SI partners
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet residency requirements (3 of the last 5 years in the U.S.)
- Must be able to obtain a favorable Public Trust Fitness Determination
- Must be available during normal business hours (9am–5pm ET) and for ad hoc on-site support at designated federal facilities
- Ability to work in Agile environments using JIRA, SharePoint, and collaborative platforms
