You will provide deeper functionality and solutions to address customer needs. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to get high-quality products and features through the agile software development lifecycle. Your continuous grooming of features/user stories to estimate, identify technical risks/dependencies and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders will ensure the features are delivered with the right quality and within timeline. You will maintain and drive the clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of the 3rd party components within the product. As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will also coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture. Who You Are Configure and maintain SAP FI-AR module, including customer master data, billing, payments, and dunning. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Implement end-to-end AR solutions in SAP ECC or S/4HANA. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and support for AR-related issues. Support integration with related modules (SD, FSCM, CO). Assist in SIT, UAT, and production support. Provide user training and create documentation. Work with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. a Master's degree (e.g. MBA or MSc in Finance/IT) is an advantage. 2–5+ years of hands-on experience working with the SAP FI (Financial Accounting) module, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Proven experience with SAP AR configuration including: Customer master data setup and maintenance Definition of payment terms, payment methods, and tolerance groups Configuration of dunning procedures and correspondence settings Incoming payments (manual and automatic), clearing rules Lockbox or bank statement (MT940/BAI) processing Strong understanding of end-to-end AR business processes such as: Customer invoicing and billing Collections and dispute handling Credit management processes Month-end AR closing activities Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments. Basic knowledge of integration points between SAP FI-AR and related modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Controlling (CO), or FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management). Ability to gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and business teams. Familiarity with SAP reporting tools such as AR Aging reports and reconciliation tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) and other EU language is a plus. Preferred Qualifications SAP FI or S/4HANA Finance certification. Exposure to FSCM Collections/Dispute Management. Basic ABAP debugging and Fiori experience.
