Job Description 📌 Job Description – SAP SCPI / SAP Integration Suite Consultant Position Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP SCPI / SAP Integration Suite Consultant to design, develop, and support integration scenarios across SAP and non-SAP systems. The consultant will work on implementation, migration, and support projects, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable integration flows aligned with SAP best practices. 🎯 Key Responsibilities Integration Design & Development Design end-to-end interfaces using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI) / SAP Integration Suite. Develop iFlows, mappings, adapters (IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, JDBC), and exception handling. Configure API Management, including API policies, rate limiting, security, and monetization. Implement integration using Event Mesh, Integration Advisor, and Open Connectors when required. Project Execution Participate in SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and hybrid architecture projects. Analyze functional and technical requirements and propose integration solutions. Prepare technical specifications (TSD), architecture diagrams, and development documentation. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT phases. Support & Operations Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues in SCPI/Integration Suite. Ensure performance optimization, message reliability, and security compliance. Provide L2/L3 support for interface incidents and enhancements. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with SAP functional teams (SD/MM/PP/FI/HR/etc.), ABAP developers, and business stakeholders. Coordinate with external partners for third-party system integration. Guide junior team members on SCPI best practices and reusable templates. Qualifications 🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong experience in SAP SCPI / Integration Suite: iFlow design, message mapping, groovy scripts, exception subprocesses. Connectivity: SFTP, IDoc, SOAP, REST, HTTPS, JDBC, Mail, AS2, OData. Security: OAuth2, Basic Auth, Certificates, API Keys, JWT. Experience with BTP services: Cloud Foundry, Destination services, Security. Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration points. Understanding of API design, Swagger/RESTful principles, and JSON/XML. Experience with IDoc/ALE, RFC/BAPI, and ABAP debugging is a plus. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
