Job Description Role Summary The SAP Security & SAP IDM Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end access management, role design, authorization maintenance, and identity lifecycle management across SAP ECC systems using SAP IDM. The role ensures secure, compliant, and auditable access aligned with business and ITGC requirements while working closely with functional, audit, and technical teams. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain single, composite, and derived roles in SAP ECC based on business requirements and best practices Perform user administration activities including user creation, modification, locking/unlocking, and deletion using SU01 Maintain and troubleshoot authorization objects, profiles, and role menus Analyze and resolve authorization issues using SU53, STAUTHTRACE, ST01 Support Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, remediation, and mitigation controls Conduct periodic user access reviews and support access certifications Manage and support transport of security roles and authorizations across system landscapes Support SAP IDM for user provisioning and de-provisioning Configure and maintain IDM workflows, approval processes, and role assignments Handle Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) processes through SAP IDM Integrate SAP IDM with SAP ECC for identity lifecycle management Provide support for IDM-related incidents, enhancements, and operational activities Ensure compliance with IT General Controls (ITGC) related to access management Support SOX, internal, and external audits by providing evidence and remediation support Assist with emergency access / firefighter processes where applicable Maintain security-related documentation, SOPs, and control evidence Collaborate with functional, basis, audit, and compliance teams to understand access requirements and deliver secure solutions Provide L2/L3 support for SAP security and IDM-related issues Participate in security design discussions for enhancements, rollouts, and projects Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC Security & Authorizations Practical experience with SAP Identity Management (IDM) Solid understanding of SAP authorization concepts, role design, and access controls Experience supporting audits and compliance activities Good knowledge of ITGC controls related to access management Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Good to Have Exposure to SAP GRC Access Control Experience in role redesign, cleanup, or remediation projects Basic understanding of SAP S/4HANA security concepts Qualifications Educational qualification: BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT) Experience : 5 - 7 Years of experience Legal Entity: Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited
