SUMMARY:

The SAP Specialist - Basis Administrator is responsible for SAP System Landscape and ensure stable operations. You provide Support for ERP systems and their interfaces as well as associated client applications to ensure smooth functionality

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, or business administration with a focus on manufacturing or logistics or warehousing, or an equivalent qualification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
• Experience with S/4HANA, strongly preferred
• Minimum three (3) years experience in a similar role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Successfully completed IT training, a comparable degree, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of practical experience in SAP Basis with comprehensive expertise in administration, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems
• Experience with S/4HANA databases
• Experience in authorization management (S/4HANA)

• Monitoring the ERP system landscape, analyzing and quickly resolving system errors to ensure stable operations
• Actively supporting SAP rollouts, coordinating the installation and configuration of new international locations, and assisting with successful go-live
• Managing the SAP authorization concept, implementing user and role management, and continuously optimizing security policies
• Supporting ERP systems and their interfaces, as well as related client applications, to ensure smooth functionality
• Managing external service providers and optimizing collaboration with the SAP platform provider in incident and problem management
• Responsibility for incident, change, and release management, coordinating SAP transports, and further developing the ERP system landscape
• Identifying and resolving authorization issues and implementing solutions
• Advising internal customers and departments regarding IT security and authorization concepts
• Close collaboration with departments and SAP module consultants to accurately implement requirements and ensure optimal data communication through interface support
• Active participation in project management for the upcoming implementation of S/4HANA, aligned with overall IT strategy
