SUMMARY:

The SAP Specialist – Product Lifecycle Management is responsible for evaluating, conceptualizing, and implementing new requirements from the business division. They provide support and further development of SAP-PLM module and integrative adjacent areas (MM, QM, PP, etc.).

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree in business informatics, engineering, or business administration with a focus on manufacturing or logistics or warehousing, or an equivalent qualification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
  • Experience with S/4HANA is strongly preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a similar role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Solid knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities and related processes within SAP modules PLM, Design/CAD, MM, DMS, etc.
  • Advanced SAP user skills, ideally with experience as a power user
  • Strong understanding of AKG products, components, bills of materials, and classification structures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High IT affinity and comfort working in technical environments
  • Familiarity with key SAP master data tables across SD, PP, MM, and LE modules
  • Initial experience in SAP customizing is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade and assert ideas effectively

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of SAP material master data, document master data, bills of materials, and related SAP objects
  • Description and documentation of existing AKG processes in the SAP and CAD environment, especially at their interface
  • Key-user training, user training, support in authorization management
  • Identification of data quality issues
  • Support in master data maintenance and cleanup, e.g., through mass changes, with a focus on: material master data, classification, and bills of materials
  • Support in the further development of AKG processes, and alignment with overall IT strategy
