JOB DESCRIPTION

FinXL is on the lookout for a SAS Viya Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to an exiting project at a leading banking client in the heart of Sydney CBD.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Expertise with SAS Viya in a consulting or implementation capacity.
• Demonstrable expertise in SAS Viya front-end configuration, including SAS Environment Manager, SAS Drive, SAS Studio, user and group management, security (authentication/authorization), and application-specific settings.
• Deep understanding of SAS Viya back-end constructs, including Kubernetes architecture, CAS server administration, microservices, data connectors, and logging/monitoring.
• Proficiency in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS/SQL) and experience leveraging Viya’s analytical capabilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible) for Viya administration tasks.

• Empower clients to maximize the potential of SAS Viya for data analytics and AI.
• Collaborate with clients to define their analytical requirements.
• Develop and deploy effective SAS Viya solutions.
• Offer expert advice on optimal methodologies.
