As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within SAT include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Transaction Tax as well as Valuation, Modelling and Economics.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform and oversee research to inform infrastructure policy development and key market trends. Specific tasks may include gathering insights from international case studies and best practice, collating & analysing relevant data, and supporting the organisation of training programs & events
  • Develop clear, well written and easy to understand reports and presentations to assist our clients in understanding complex problems
  • Assist with the preparation of commercial and financial analysis for project feasibility studies. Specific tasks may include business model or structure development, risk analysis, financial flows and understanding of key assumptions.
  • Support procurement and transaction advisory for clients on major infrastructure projects and transactions, including public-private partnerships
  • Manage, support and develop junior members in the team
  • Provide coordination support with regional EY offices (e.g., Australia, Singapore), public & private sector clients, external advisors (e.g., technical, legal) and other relevant stakeholders on infrastructure initiatives, events, and projects
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to address their needs during pursuit stage and during engagement delivery

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE

  • A bachelor’s degree in any relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years (Senior Associate)/ 6 years (Manager level) of work experience in consulting or similar nature of work. Experience working with the infrastructure and transportation sector will be highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of PPP/PFI, concessions and acquisition and project financing structures / contracts in the infrastructure sector.
  • Understanding of market trends, policy frameworks, and regulatory environments in infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience of working in project and programme management, developing procurement strategies and commercial models, contract management, stakeholder management and risk & value management.
  • Familiarity in infrastructure development processes, financing mechanisms, and delivery models (e.g., PPP, EPC).
  • Sound commercial judgment and an ability to generate creative solutions to problems.
