ISI is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Satellite Systems Engineer to join a cutting-edge satellite program. Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 5 years of experience with spaceborne or airborne systems engineering, including design, development, and testing Experience leading verification activities (planning and execution) Planning and organizational skills, including contributing to schedules, estimating costs, and forecasting personnel needs Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of leading technical projects Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of a satellite system, encompassing electro-optical payloads, communication systems, and computerized systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and customers, to define system requirements, specifications, and architectures for satellite projects Conduct detailed system analysis and simulations to optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency Manage and oversee the integration, testing, and validation of satellite systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and mission requirements Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve system-level issues Advantages Master's in Systems Engineering. Experience with orbital mechanics, satellite constellations, or distributed space systems. Experience with system simulation tools and software (e.g., STK, GMAT, Matlab, Simulink) Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to satellite operations and space systems
