Satellite Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
For a major scientific mission, we are looking for a systems engineer covering the following topics:

Main responsibilities

• Manage the satellite internal and external interfaces
• Ensure and track compliance to spacecraft technical requirements and support specifications
• Prepare spacecraft verification on system level, including verification control and coordination of test specifications

Additional topics

• Technical system budgets (electrical power, propellant, telemetry, command, pointing, mass properties)
• Support the generation the AIT plans and operation plans
• Supervise preparation of satellite tests and review of test results
• Define Test Specifications for System Level Tests and Verification
• Preparation for launch and flight phases
• Contribute to the project risk management for risks of technical nature

Your Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
• Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases B/C/D and in the field of verification
• Experience in technical negotiations with the customer
• Self-managed and pro-active working style
• Ability to work with and implement processes
• Ability to work in a team
• Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous.
