Satellite Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
The test environment in the satellite testing area usually contains several thousand lines of code, which are filled with life by the satellite testers. The main task of this position is to support the test teams in the use and maintenance of these implemented solutions. If you feel like sharing and gaining knowledge and experience in an interdisciplinary & international team, this is the right position for you!

Your Tasks

  • Support the testers in designing the test automation
  • Automation of repetitive tasks
  • Generalization and quality assurance of test scripts
  • Support and consultancy for testers by code reviews, code guidelines and trainings
  • Proactive and regular exchange with the test teams
  • Maintenance and improvement of the framework for test automation
  • Creation of coding guidelines for the development of automated test scripts
  • Deliver useful documentation

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science or a related field
  • Initial exoerience with software projects and scripting languages
  • Experience in Tcl/Tk or Python or with CCS systems is a plus
  • Team-oriented work and strong communication skills
  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, willingness to learn German is a plus

Advantageous would be:

  • Experience in the field of software architecture
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Experience in international teams
  • Object-oriented software development in C#, Java or C++
