Overview The primary purpose of the Saturation Operator position is to perform setups, assembly, pack out, and in-process inspection of saturated non-woven products. Responsibilities Reads and interprets EDS's, Control Plans, and Work Orders as necessary to complete production Performs equipment setup and material changeover Requests required materials by distributing material KANBAN cards to the material handler. Performs in-process inspections as required by the Control Plans. Cleans the manufacturing work area as necessary or as required by maintenance work order. Follows product drawings to complete assembly and pack out process. Others as assigned. Competencies While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be in a stationary position; to operate, activate, use, and place. The employee frequently is required to move and traverse. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or position self to access low areas. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.(lift assistance is provided). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
