Description The Youth Sports Coach is responsible for delivering structured sports programming to groups of young children following B.E.S.T. curriculum guidelines. This role requires energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to providing an excellent experience for participants and their families. Skills and Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and engage young children in a group setting. Dependability and punctuality. Team-oriented attitude with flexibility to adapt as needed. Commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for participants. Work Environment: Classes may be held indoors or outdoors based on location and season. Physical activity required, including standing, running, and participating in sports drills. Travel between multiple class locations may be required based on scheduling. 2-4 hour long shifts in Lake Elsinore (Dependent on season enrollment) Physical Requirements: Ability to physically participate in sports activities. Ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 40 pounds). Ability to stand, move, and be physically active for extended periods. Employment Type: Part-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and instruct sports classes, camps, and/or clinics for children ages 18 months to 12 years. Multi-Sport includes Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Track Implement and follow B.E.S.T. lesson plans and coaching techniques. Maintain a fun, positive, and supportive learning environment. Ensure the safety and supervision of all participants at all times. Set up, organize, and break down equipment as needed before and after classes. Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, teammates, and supervisors. Complete required class check-ins, reporting, and attendance tracking. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Represent B.E.S.T. values and uphold a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
The Youth Sports Coach leads and instructs sports classes for children ages 18 months to 12 years, implementing B.E.S.T. lesson plans and ensuring a fun and safe environment. Responsibilities include managing equipment, supervising participants, and communicating with parents and teammates.
