JOB OVERVIEW

Skyboat Café is a boutique kids’ soft play café nestled in the heart of Westbury Park, Bristol. We’re a female-run business with a strong emphasis on quality, exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming space for families. We’re now looking for a creative and experienced Chef to join our team on a maternity cover basis, with great scope for progression within the café.
In this role, you’ll be at the helm of our kitchen, working with a talented team and crafting healthy, Ottolenghi-style salads, artisan bakes, and bespoke homemade cakes—all made fresh from scratch. We pride ourselves on offering top-tier food made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and a creative approach to each dish. You’ll play a key part in maintaining our café’s commitment to quality and ensuring that every dish is not only delicious but also reflective of our values of care and creativity.
While this role is maternity cover, there are ample opportunities for growth within the business for the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a chef role within a kitchen or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food production techniques and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering great food.
