Calder Masonry Ltd is a well-established quarry operator and manufacturer. We are one of the largest producers of dimensional Yorkstone in the UK, supplying Woodkirk Yorkshire Sandstone to customers within the UK and Republic of Ireland.
We are looking to expand our incredible team and are recruiting experienced sawyers to work in our busy production facility cutting/dimensioning sandstone on our bridge saws. This role needs a suitably experienced saw operator who knows how to run stone saws. You must be enthusiastic, reliable and a good team player. Industrial stone saws must be used in a responsible and efficient manner to keep up with the high volume of production expected. Manual handing of heavy items is expected, so health and safety procedures must always be adhered to.
Experience required so please do not apply if you have zero experience in the operating bridge saws in the stone industry as you will not be considered.
All candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have the right to work in the UK
Wage – Dependant on experience – Range - £12.21-13.31 per hour standard
£18.32-19.97 per hour for overtime
