We’re on the lookout for an Experienced Saw Operator to join our production team in Aldridge. If you’ve run a sliding table panel saw before, know how to handle sheet materials, and pride yourself on accuracy and quality, this could be the role for you.
At Skirting 4 U, we manufacture bespoke MDF skirting boards, architrave and wall panelling that end up in homes all over the UK — from everyday houses to luxury pads. As an experienced operator, you’ll play a key role in cutting materials to the exact specifications our customers expect.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating a sliding table panel saw (computer-programmed, manual operation)
• Cutting MDF and finger-jointed pine sheets to precise customer specifications
• Working safely with a second operative to handle large, heavy boards
• Maintaining high quality standards in a fast-moving, physical environment
• Supporting trainees and sharing your knowledge as part of the team

What we’re looking for:

• Previous saw operating experience in a factory or woodworking environment
• Reliability, strong work ethic, and a positive “can-do” attitude
• Attention to detail and commitment to working safely
• Team player who thrives in a busy production setting

What we offer:

• Pay from £12.60 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
• Overtime at 1.5x hourly rate
